MULINDI FACTORY COMPANY LTD announces the sale of ASSORTED SCRAP METAL by Tender on “as is where is” basis:

The above scrap can be view/inspected at Mulindi Factory Company Limited at Kaniga sector in Gicumbi District during office hours on workdays.
Filled specific Tender Schedule (attached as Annexure-A) in sealed envelope including copy of licence as Scrap metal dealer must be dropped in at the secretary office of Mulindi factory company on or before Friday 10th March 2026 by 4:00 pm.
The highest bidder(s) will be notified, and a written and signed contract will be entered into between the one awarded the tender and MFC Ltd stipulating condition of payment and collection of items. If the company finds two highest bidders for same bid/price, the earlier submitted bid will be called winner/successful.
It is mentionable that VAT and any other expenses of transfer/relocation will be at bidder’s cost. No complaint and/or other contentions regarding the sale of scrap will be entertained after acceptance of the Tender.
The buyers become responsible for the scrap upon payment of the full sale price and Mulindi Factory Company Ltd will not be held liable for any loss thereafter.
The Company reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Tenders partially or
Wholly without assigning any reason whatsoever.
Bidder must submit the required documents mentioned in the Tender Schedule. Offer will be disqualified in case of failure of compliance.
Note: Only licensed companies are allowed to submit their tenders.

Assistant Tea Maker (2)
Job Purpose
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Assistant Tea Maker will ensure optimum utilization of resources and creation of enabling environment with view to achieving quality, safety and production goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities

- Monitoring production in all areas

- Ensuring that tea produced meet set quality standards

- Carrying out tea testing during the shift
-
- Supervising and appraising staff and identifying their training needs
-
- Ensuring sound maintenance of production equipment
-
- Ensuring maintenance of hygiene standards in the production floor
-
- Ensuring timely achievement of set production targets
-
- Implementing production schedules and liaising with manager / Tea maker for any deviation of the production plan
-
- Organizing for processing of quality tea during the shift
-
- Updating stock control records as per approved procedures
-
- Coordinating receiving and withering of tea leaf as per approved procedures

- Enforcing environmental health, safety and regulation measures
-
- Ensuring that tea produced meet the set quality standards
-
- Ensuring that set production targets are achieved within the time frame
-
- Reporting any change which could affect food safety to the food safety team.

- Report food safety issues to the Food Safety Team Leader

- Attending tea tasting/presenting tea on behalf of the factory during different events
-
- Performing any other duty as may be assigned from time to time
Key Qualifications and Skills

- Bachelors in food technology
-
- 3 working experience in similar responsibilities

- Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision.

- Decision making, problem solving, reporting and people skills.

- Excellent communication skills: written and verbal. Oral proficiency in English and Kinyarwanda is a requirement.

- Computer literacy and competency in excel and the standard office applications
Location
The role shall be based full time at the Mulindi Factory Company in Gicumbi District, Northern Province.
