Dr. Epimaque Niyibizi is an Associate Professor of Applied English and Literacy Education at the University of Rwanda. He represents COOTHEVM, a tea farming cooperative, on the board of Mulindi Tea Factory. With a PhD in Applied Languages and Literacy Education, he has expertise in language education, educational leadership, and research methods. Dr. Niyibizi actively engages in tea farming as a means of community involvement.
Dr. Niyibizi is a tea farmer and a member of COOTHEVM, which is a cooperative involved in tea farming. As a tea farmer, he is engaged in cultivating tea in the Rushaki I zone of Gicumbi District, Northern Province, Rwanda.
Dr. Niyibizi holds the position of Associate Professor in the School of Education, College of Education, at the University of Rwanda. He specializes in Applied English and Literacy Education, where he imparts knowledge, conducts research, and guides students in the field.
As of May 2023, Dr. Niyibizi serves as the Deputy Dean in the School of Education at the University of Rwanda. In this role, he likely assists the Dean in overseeing academic programs, faculty management, and administrative responsibilities within the School of Education.
